I checked the mailbox after work today and found me some mail from my fitblr buddy!
I’m super super excited. My buddy is super sweet and I’m so happy I’m doing this.
She sent me this awesome reminder that I’m going to put up on my wall and a note with cool quotes and questions that I’m going to answer soon. :)

Happy V-Day FITBLR BUDDIES one and all. I just wanted to spread some of the FITBLR LOVE my BUDDY sent me because containing my delight is simply IMPOSSIBLE. I just wish I could thank you personally Buddy.
My AWESOME buddy or “Chieftan of Cool” as I have rechristened them {because a) they clearly have astounding music taste and b) their vocab includes COOL words I would never have the nerve to say but always wanted to - eg “badass”} - hope you don’t mind the name change Buddy?! - sent me these following LOVEly goodies:

As I write this I am listening to the 10km running sound track that Chieftan of Cool compiled especially for my 10km run a day in February challenge - Thank you for taking so much keen interest in me and my little crazy fitness plans. Having faith in my slightly dubious running ability means so much to me.
I now have to work on being a better buddy to my own Fitblr Buddy and try to live up to AWESOME Fitblr Standards you’ve set. I have my work cut out for me ;-))

OK, so…yesterday I overslept, but ALL day I was thinking about how I was going to check the mail as soon as I got home.
SO…All day…I was like…thinking about having something in the mail [In case you didn’t get that]. So, as soon as I turned my car off I BOLTED to the mailbox, and sure enough…there was a card! I didn’t even wait to get inside, and I didn’t even care that I was missing the first five minutes of Glee, because I HAD A CARD FROM MY BUDDY. I opened it and immediately died.
Then I came back to life.
First of all, I love owls. Birds of any kind, really. But particularly owls. I can relate to them, ya know? Being so wise and all. So I was like, already in love with this card. It could have said “whooooo’s the best?” and opened up to read “NOT YOU, BITCH”, and I still would have probably liked it!
Secondly, thank you for your more-than-generous words, buddy! Whoever you are. You have gorgeous handwriting, and the quotes you put inside are a couple that I’ve never read before, so I’m adding those to the list.
And, lastly…THE CARD WAS FROM TRADER JOES. IT kind of tugged at my heartstrings a little, because that is seriously one of the things I miss MOST about California, but it made me so happy that my adorable card came from TJs.
I am still beaming with excitement because I have the best, most intuitive buddy ever!
